Class of 2026 Triton College (Ill./JUCO) guard Papa Kounta has received an offer from University of Albany Great Danes Men’s Basketball program, yesterday he wrote on X.
The 6-foot-6 Thies, Senegal, native is averaging 14.3 points (329), eight rebounds, and 1.9 assists per game across 23 contests with the Trojans so far this season.
Before College, Kounta attended Shinning Stars Academy in Petersburg, Va.
Albany is 8-17 so far this year, and will travel to Binghamton Saturday at 4:00 p.m.
