The Milwaukee Milkmen have signed ex-New York Met minor league pitcher Brendan Hardy for the upcoming 2026 American Association campaign, yesterday the team announced via X.
Hardy spent 2025 in the Colorado Rockies’ system, posting a 2-0 record with a 5:02 ERA in 14.1 innings of work in 13 games with the Rockies Arizona Complex League and Triple A Albuquerque Isotopes.
The 26-year-old righty made it all the way to Double-A Binghamton with the Mets, going 1-0 with 2.26 ERA in 8.1 frames in six contests in 2023. He also pitched well in stops with the St. Lucie Mets (Low A) and the Brooklyn Cyclones (Advanced A) that same season.
New York selected Hardy in the 31st round of the 2018 MLB June Amateur Draft out of Harrison Central High School in Gulfport, Mississippi,
