Carson Benge, the New York Mets 2024 MLB Draft first round pick, had a strong debut with the St. Lucie Mets, reaching base four times with three walks and two stolen bases. St. Lucie won 4-3 against the Daytona Tortugas. Yohairo Cuevas and Edgar Moreta also performed well.
