Lady Jets’ Kaila Dawkins Makes History as She Becomes Hoops Program’s First D 1 Commit
Dawkins drained 13 points, 9.5 rebounds, and 2.4 steals per contest this past season. Additionally, the forward helped the Lady Jets to a 22-4 record and played a big role in capturing their first championship in 2018, a 59-32 win in the PSAL Class B Girls' final.

The 5-foot-7 Brooklyn native help lead the Lady Jets to a dominate 59-32 win over Adams Street Academy in the PSAL B Girl's Championship game as a junior, and took the team to the finals as a sophomore, a nail-biting 44-43 defeat to John Jay Campus.
