Kranepool will throw out a ceremonial first pitch, followed by signing autographs for fans outside the Waddle In Shop to promote his new book, which will be available for purchase in the store. He will be signing autographs for the first three innings of the game.
The items for sale include autographed vintage photos, signed assorted team and individual baseballs, wonderful baseball memorabilia from different clubs, as well as unsigned, fresh to most human-eyes personal photos from Kranepool's days with New York across his 17-year MLB career.
On Sunday, June 9th, at 1:05 p.m., at TD Bank Ballpark, the home of the Somerset Patriots, 1969 World Series Champions Art Shamsky, Cleon Jones, Ed Kranepool, and Ron Swoboda will be making an appearance to celebrate the 50th anniversary of the New York Mets winning their first ever title.
