Long Island Ducks Feel the Chill, Re-Sign Former Major Leaguer Sam Travis

Travis, who begins his second season with the Ducks and ninth in professional baseball, finished sixth in the Atlantic League with a .310 batting average last season. Affectionally known as Doctor Chill, he also launched nine home runs, had 68 RBI, scored 47 runs with 100 hits, 19 doubles and a .368 on-base percentage.

LI Ducks Ink Ex-MLB Pitcher Mike Bolsinger to Deal

Bolsinger has pitched with the Arizona Diamondbacks (2014), Los Angeles Dodgers, (2015-16) and Toronto Blue Jays (2017) in his four-year MLB stint. He has combined to make 48 appearances (41 starts), amassing 230.2 innings of work while striking out 210 batters.
