A former Yankees first-round pick, 32nd overall, of the 2010 MLB June Amateur Draft out of Irondequoit High School (Rochester, NY), Culver played in eight seasons within New York's organization, reaching as high as Triple-A Scranton/Wilkes-Barre in 2016 and 2017.
