In Columbia, South Carolina, the Columbia Fireflies, the South Atlantic League Single-A affiliate of the New York Mets, are joining forces with Peace of Mind. POM is a program that provides free hotel rooms to Columbia’s front-liners, and its working with the Fireflies to sell a limited edition ‘Wash Your Wings’ t-shirt to help raise funds to house these brave workers while they conduct their Herculean efforts.
