Eiland has spent the last two seasons as the pitching coach for the Mets and prior to that he was the pitching coach for the Kansas City Royals from 2012-17, including when they captured the World Series title in 2015. Eiland also served as the pitching coach for the New York Yankees from 2008-2010 and served as a coach at the minor league level for the Yankees from 2003-07.
