Former Staten Island FerryHawks infielder Drew Maggi, 35, had his contract bought by the Detroit Tigers after batting .235 with three home runs and 15 RBI in 29 games. Maggi has a history of playing for Team Italy and reaching the Major Leagues with the Pittsburgh Pirates.
