The New York Mets have promoted high school shortstop Trey Snyder to the low-level Single-A St. Lucie Mets of the Florida State League. Snyder is the first Mets high school pick to reach St. Lucie in the same year he was drafted. He had a remarkable high school baseball career, earning several awards and recognitions.
