Rutgers Prep guard Jacob Canton receives offer from West Virginia Men's basketball program. He also holds an offer from Radford. Canton led the Argonauts with 435 points. He added 144 rebounds, 125 assists, and 62 steals. West Virginia had a 9-23 overall mark in 2023-24.
Deron Rippey, Jr., a rising junior point guard at Blair Academy, has received offers from the West Virginia Mountaineers Men's basketball program, bringing his total to 14 D-1 college basketball offers. His father, Deron Sr., also had a successful basketball career.
Rising junior guard Ethan Mgbako received a Division I offer from West Virginia. The 6'6" player also has offers from George Washington and Kent State. Mgbako had impressive stats in the Nike Elite Youth Basketball League.
