Luis Kortright of St. Raymond High School has committed to Division I Quinnipiac University Men’s Basketball program, Raven’s Head Coach Jorge Lopez Tweeted yesterday.
The 6-foot-3 shooting guard averaged 20.1 points per game for St. Raymond last season. He dazzled in a game against Stepinac in January, draining a game-best 33 points on 13 field goals.
In addition, the New York State Sports Writers Association named Kortright to its Class AA First Team All-State squad.
The Bobcats posted a 15-15 overall record and went 10-10 in the Metro Atlantic Athletic Conference (MAAC).
