Anna Jankovic, a 5-foot-9 senior shooting/point guard out of Averill Park High School in Averill, NY, has received a scholarship offer from the Division II D’Youville College Women’s Basketball program in Buffalo, NY, she Tweeted tonight.
Jankovic owns a sweet outside jumper, but she can also go the rim almost at will, using her long, lean body to establish inside position. Plus, she can score with both hands and defends very well.
Jankovic, who also plays for the AAU NY Havoc Blue, helped the Averill Park Lady Warriors to their seventh straight Section 2 Class A girls basketball championship in the 2019-20 campaign.
The Saints finished with an 18-9 mark and went 15-5 in conference play last year.
D’Youville is the East Coast Conference’s (ECC) newest member.
