Newburgh Free Academy (NY) senior forward Amarri Tice has received an offer from University of Maryland, Baltimore County (UMBC) basketball, yesterday he Tweeted.
The 6-foot-7, 215-pound Tice also has offers from UMass, University of North Carolina Wilmington (UNCW), and Albany.
Tice possesses the physical attributes — a wide wingspan, with quick hands and solid footwork — that make him an above-average defender. Tice, who also plays AAU hoops for City Rocks Nike Elite Youth Basketball League (EYBL), seems to be on the rise, as far as his recruiting stock goes, and should be garnering more offers in the near future.
The Retrievers posted a 14-6 overall record and went 10-5 in American East Conference (AEC) play.
