Cam Young comes home to Garden State.

The Swedesboro, N.J., native shot 7-for-22 (31.8 percent) from behind the arc and 11-for-18 (61.1%) from the charity stripe, both improvements from the previous season.

Young held 12 Division I offers coming out of high school before choosing Bowling Green.

The 6-foot-7, 200-pound Young, a junior next year, played high school ball at Neumann Goretti, in Philadelphia.

The Peacocks posted a 22-12 record and went 14-6 Metro Atlantic Athletic Conference (MAAC) action in the 2021-22 campaign. St. Peter’s captured the MAAC Championship and went on a magical run, which ended in the NCAA Elite 8 to North Carolina.
