St. John’s Hoops Lands African Big Man Mohamed Keita

NBA Academy’s Mohamed Keita, a 7-footer, has verbally committed to St. John’s University Men’s Basketball program, to study biology and pursue his hoop dreams, yesterday NBA Africa Tweeted.

7-foot Mohamed Keita has committed to St, John’s Red Storm Hoops.

Keita, 20, is a power forward rim protector who played for U19 Mali in U19 World Cup in 19-20.

St. John’s posted a 17-15 overall record and went 8-11 in Big East Conference action this past season.
