After a year at Ellsworth Community College (Iowa), today Dior Davis has verbally committed to Division I New Hampshire Mens’ basketball program, he Tweeted.
The Manhattan, N.Y., guard averaged 14.3 points, 4.7 boards and 3.4 assists per game this past season for the Panthers.
The 6-foot-2, 170-pounder suited up for Murry Bergtraum, where he drained a team-high 26.4 points per game and was second on the Blazers in rebounds with 17.7 per contest in the 2019-20 season. He also spent a year at Springfield Commonwealth Academy (Mass.) before enrolling at Ellsworth.
Davis had offers from Manhattan, Stony Brook, DePaul, Hofstra, North Carolina A&T, Long Beach State, Missouri State, LIU-Brooklyn, IUPUI. St. Francis Brooklyn, Morgan State, Norfolk State, among others, in his first recruitment go-around, per Verbal Commits.
New Hampshire posted a 15-15 overall record and went 9-7 in Colonial Athletic Assocation (CAA) action in the 2022-23 campaign.
