St. John’s Hoops Offers Patrick School’s Nigerian Pair: Fawaz, Alozie


The Patrick School’s (N.J.) Ifaola “Tacko” Fawaz (2025) and Ikenna Alozie (2026) have picked up offers from Division I St. John’s University Mens’ basketball program, yesterday Anderw Slater Tweeted.

The 6-foot-11 Fawaz, a center, also suits up for the New York Rennaissance Hoops.

The 6-foot-3 Alozie, a point guard, holds offers from Providence and Arizona State, while Fawaz has offers from Providence and Seton Hall, per VerbalCommits.com.

Alozie dropped in 125 points in 12 games, and Fawaz scored 14 points in five contests this past season, according to NJ.com.

The Red Storm posted an 18-15 overall record and went 7-13 in Big East Conference action this past season.
