Holmdel High School (N.J.) rising senior point guard Allison Cannon is staying close to home, as she has verbally committed to Division I New Jersey Institute of Technology (NJIT) Womens’ basketball, today she Tweeted.
The 5-foot-10 Cannon, a legitimate sniper who also plays for NJ Shoreshots-HGSL 17U squad, led the Hornets in scoring with 418 points, steals with109 and assists with 117 in 28 games this past season.
The Highlanders posted a 13-16 mark and went 8-8 in America East Conference action in the 2022-23 campaign.
