Paul VI High School Guard Commits to North Carolina A and T State Hoops

Eva Andrews of Paul VI High School (N.J.) and Exodus Girl’s Elite Youth Basketball League (EYBL) has verbally committed to Division I North Carolina A&T State University Women’s basketball program, today she Tweeted.

Eva Andrews is headed to North Carolina after graduation in 2024.

Andrews also held an offer from William & Mary, among growing interest from other schools. per her Twitter account. But decided, sooner rather than later, to become a member of the Aggies after graduation.

Andrews, a rising senior guard, drained 226 points, grabbed 69 boards and had 16 steals in 24 games this past New Jersey Girl’s hoops season.

With standout guard Hannah Hidalgo off to Norte Dame, Andrews will need to step up and assume a leadership role, both on and off the court.

Thankfully, Andrews owns the skillset to do so, especially when it comes to shooting the rock with her quick release, not to mention the maturity to handle the reasonability and pressure of being a go-to player, according to girl’s high school basketball.

Andrews played her freshman season at Trenton Catholic Academy, dropping in 75 points, collecting 26 rebounds, serving up 15 dimes, and making 12 thefts in a truncated 14-game schedule in 2020-21.

The Aggies posted an 18-12 overall mark and went 12-6 in Colonial Athletic Assocation (CAA) conference action in the 2022-23 campaign.
