Immaculate Conception HS, NJ Demons’ Zya Washington Pledges to D3 Hamilton Hoops


Class of 2024 Zya Washington of Immaculate Conception Lodi High School (N.J.) and NJ Demons 17U squads has committed to the admission process at Division III Hamilton College, to attend the school and play for its Women’s basketball program, today she Tweeted. The Continentals will hold a roster spot for her.

Zya Washington headed to Upstate, N.Y. to study at Hamilton College and play basketball.

Washington also held offers from Richard Bland College of William & Mary (NJCAA Region 10) and DIII Rutgers University-Camden, plus interest from other schools, per her Twitter account.

Washington put up 142 points and had 40 steals in 24 games during the 2022-23 campaign.

Hamilton posted a 12-11 overall record and went 5-5 in New England Small College Athletic Conference (NESCAC) this past season.
