Sought After Illinois HS Guard Comes Off the Board, Commits to Princeton Hoops


Class of 2024 Downers Grove North (Ill.) guard Jack Stanton has committed to Division I Princeton University Men’s basketball program, today yesterday he Tweeted.

Jack Staton headed to New Jersey in fall of 2024.

Additionally, Stanton, a 6-foot-2 senior who also played AAU hoops for Breakaway Basketball UA Rise, held offers from Colombia, St. Thomas, Furman, Penn, Bradley, Holy Cross, Bucknell. Miami (Ohio), Yale, Stanford, Cal Poly, Rice, Illinois State, Drake, Southern Illinois, Valparaiso, Lewis and Fordham, per VerbalCommits.com.

Princeton posted a 23-9 overall record and went 10-4 in Ivy League Conference play in the 2022-23 campaign.
