Preston Edmead of Williston Northampton School (Mass.) boy’s basketball team has picked up an offer from Division I Iona Gaels Men’s basketball program, today he said via X.
Additionally, the 6-foot junior point guard holds a total of 12 D1 offers from programs such as Seton Hall, Hofstra, FDU, Bryant, UAB, Manhattan, among others.
Preston is the young brother of Merrimack College guard Malik Edmead.
Iona, now under the tutelage of former FDU head coaching darling Toben Anderson, posted a 27-8 overall record and went 17-3 in Metro Atlantic Athletic Conference (MAAC) action in the 2022-23 campaign.
