Class of 2024 Hargrave Military Academy (Va.) forward Nigel Clarkson has verbally committed to Ivy League Columbia University Men’s basketball program, today he announced via X.
Clarkson, who is a highly skilled long-range shooter, had an offer from UPenn, and been on unofficial visits to American University and U.S Naval Academy, per his Twitter account. Last season, Clarkson attended Crosby High School.
The Lions are 8-3 so far this in the 2023-24 campaign and will travel to Fordham on Saturday December 30th at 1:00 p.m.
Columbia posted a 7-22 overall record and went 2-12 in Ivy League Conference action in the 2023-22 campaign.
