Fargo-Moorhead RedHawks Re-Ink Righties Jake Dykhoff, Tristen Roehrich

The Fargo-Moorhead RedHawks have re-signed two right-handed pitchers — Jake Dykhoff and Tristen Roehrich — for the upcoming 2024 American Assocation campaign, yesterday the team announced.

Dykhoff, 24, originally inked a deal with the RedHawks on May 16, 2023. The American Association West named Dykhoff to its All-Star team after enjoying a solid first half. He wound up posting a 4-4 record, 64 strikeouts, 32 walks, and a 5.60 ERA in 14 contests last season.

Before turning professional, Dykhoff pitched at Division II University of Minnesota-Crookston. He put up an overall record of 19-11 and a sparkling 3.50 ERA while averaging 11.8 strikeouts across nine innings in three years on the baseball squad.

Roehrich, 22, signed with Fargo-Moorhead on June 12 of 2023 after his career at North Dakota State, where he posted a 12-11 record while punching out 187 batters in 188 frames in four years.

After the RedHawks released him in late July, Roehrich wound up appearing in 17 games in his two stints with the club, finishing with 0-1 mark on the year while making one start and recording one save while striking out 26 hitters and walking 18 batters over 31 innings.

Fargo-Moorhead kickoffs the 2024 American Association campaign Friday, May 10th at Newman Outdoor Field against the Lincoln Saltdogs.
