The Lake Erie Crushers of the American Assocation of Professional Baseball (AAPB) have signed infielder Ethan Skender, yesterday the team announced via X.
Last season with the Evansville Otters (AAPB), Skender, 27, batted .263 with nine home runs, 53 RBI, 16 doubles, five triples and 22 stolen bases in 319 at-bats in 83 games.
The San Diego Padres, the organization in which he played three seasons for, selected Skender in the 28th round of the 2016 MLB June Amateur Draft from State College of Florida, Manatee-Sarasota (Bradenton, FL).
Before that, the Cincinnati Reds picked Skender in the in the 31st round of the 2015 MLB June Amateur Draft from Metamora Township HS (Metamora, III.).
