La Salle University Women’s basketball snapped an eight-game losing streak behind a game-best 19 points from guard Molly Masciantonio, a graduate student, and 16 points (12 from three-point land) from freshman guard Nicole Melious, in its 64-53 victory over Fordham (Bronx, N.Y.) Saturday at home at Gola Arena in Philadelphia, Pa.

Masciantonio added six assists, three steals and five rebounds, while Melious, a Staten Island native, contributed one helper, two rebounds, one theft and one block in the triumph over the Rams (6-9, 1-3).
La Salle (4-10, 1-2)Â will travel to Upstate New York on Wednesday at 7:00 p.m. to take on the St. Bonaventure Bonnies.
