New Jersey’s Braxton Jones is enjoying a spectacular season.
JUCO Recruiting named the sophomore Garden City Community College (Kan.) and ex-Roselle Catholic High School (N.J.) guard No. 15 on its Top 100 Junior College (JUCO) player list. Plus, he has recently picked up offers from Division I Southern Indiana and Hampton Men’s basketball programs, according to his X account.
Additionally, Jones is averaging 21.4 points, 4.3 rebounds and 3.2 assists per game through 16 contests thus far in the 2023-24 campaign. He posted a triple-double of 23 points, 11 boards and 10 assists in the Broncos’ 109-72 win over Dodge City Wednesday on the road.
The 6-foot, 175-pound Monroe, N.J., native previously played for DI Hartford University–which is now DIII–where he averaged 4.5 points and 1.3 boards per game last year.
In addition to suiting up for Roselle Catholic as a senior, Jones spent three years at Trenton Catholic Preparatory Academy (TCPA), scoring a total of 365 points in 43 contests, good for an 8.5 points per game average.
Garden City is 11-6 overall and 7-4 in Kansas Jayhawk Community College Conference (KJCC) action.
