The SI FerryHawks Ink Former Pirates Minor League Righty Noe Toribio


The Staten Island FerryHawks have signed right-handed pitcher Noe Toribio for the upcoming 2024 independent Atlantic League campaign, today the team wrote on X.

Toribio, 24, spent 2023 with the Triple-A Indianapolis Indians and the Double-A Altoona Curve, both of the Pittsburgh Pirates organization. With Indianapolis, the Dominican Republic native picked up six wins in 50.2 innings pitched across two years.

The 6-foot-2, 210-pound Torbio played in the Pirates’ organization for a total of six seasons, posting a 23-16 mark with four saves and a 4.16 ERA with 347 strikeouts in 372.0 frames of work.
