Class of 2024 Northwest Florida State (JUCO) guard Tajuan Simpkins, a Brooklyn native, has received an offer from Division I Rider University (N.J.) Men’s basketball program, yesterday he wrote on X.
in addition to the Rider offer, the 6-foot-5, 185-pound redshirted freshman holds offers from Siena, Georgia Southern, North Carolina A&T, Nothern Illinois, Radford, Northwestern State, North Carolina Central, Hofstra University, Cal State Bakersfield and Eastern Kentucky, according to VerbalCommits.com.
Simpkins, a Liberty Heights Athletic Institute graduate, is averaging 14.0 points, 3.9 rebounds and 2.0 assists per game through 25 contests with Northwest Florida State so far this season.
The Broncos are 10-16 overall and 7-8 in Mid-American Conference action thus far in 2023-24.
