The Tri-City ValleyCats have re-signed Berlin, N.J., native and right-handed pitcher Dan Beebe for the upcoming 2024 Frontier League season, today the team announced via X.
Thank you for reading this post, don't forget to subscribe!In his professional baseball debut with the ValleyCats in 2023, Beebee posted a 5-6 record with 4.83 ERA with 75 strikeouts in 72.2 innings of work in 14 games.
Before turning pro, the 25-year-old played four seasons at Division III Rutgers University-Camden. He then spent two years as a graduate student at D-II Palm Beach Atlantic University. All in all, he complied an 8-13 mark with a 4.09 ERA and 158 whiffs in 156.1 frames across six campaigns.
Beebe attended Eastern Regional High School in Voorhees, N.J., where he garnered All-Conference Second Team and All-South Jersey Second Team honors.
