New Jersey Native, Righty Dan Beebe Inks with Tri-City ValleyCats

The Tri-City ValleyCats have re-signed Berlin, N.J., native and right-handed pitcher Dan Beebe for the upcoming 2024 Frontier League season, today the team announced via X.

In his professional baseball debut with the ValleyCats in 2023, Beebee posted a 5-6 record with 4.83 ERA with 75 strikeouts in 72.2 innings of work in 14 games.

Before turning pro, the 25-year-old played four seasons at Division III Rutgers University-Camden. He then spent two years as a graduate student at D-II Palm Beach Atlantic University. All in all, he complied an 8-13 mark with a 4.09 ERA and 158 whiffs in 156.1 frames across six campaigns.

Beebe attended Eastern Regional High School in Voorhees, N.J., where he garnered All-Conference Second Team and All-South Jersey Second Team honors.
