Iona College Men’s basketball has landed former Saint Joseph’s sophomore guard Christian Winborne, as he is transferring into the program, today he announced via X.

Winborne saw action in four contests, averaging 3.3 points and 2.0 rebounds per game in the 2023-24 campaign. In the 2022-23 season, Winborne averaged 6.0 points and 1.9 boards per game in 29 tilts.
Winborne ranked fifth all-time in scoring in Gilman School (Baltimore) history despite missing 25 games due to COVID. He also played for Team Thrill AAU.
Iona posted a 16-17 mark and went 10-10 in Metro Atlantic Athletic Conference (MAAC) this past season.
