Brooklyn’s Tahron Allen Commits to Blue Hens After Leaving Wagner


After Tahron Allen played last season with the Wager College Seahawks basketball team, he has now committed to the Division I Delaware Blue Hens Men’s basketball program for his senior year, yesterday he announced via X.

The 6-foot-5, 200-pound Allen averaged 10.5 points and 5.1 rebounds per game in 32 contests with the Seahawks in the 2023-24 campaign.

Moreover, the Brooklyn native averaged 18.3 p.p.g. and 6.0 r.p.g. across three games to help Wagner capture the Northeast Conference (NEC) championship and Tournament MVP honors. He also spent two years at Monmouth University.

Allen, a former Brooklyn Collegiate star, averaged 33.6 points and 8.8 rebounds as a senior to go along with almost five assists per game and a 62.8 field goal percentage. 

The Blue Hens posted a 19-14 overall record and went 8-5 in Colonial Athletic Assocation (CAA) Conference action this past season.
