Class of 2025 Putnam Science (Ct.) guard Tony Williams has received an offer from Division I Albany Men’s basketball program, today he announced on X.
Additionally, Williams, who also suits up for the New Haven Heat MHC AAU squad, holds offers from Quinnipiac and Gardner-Webb, per VerbalCommits.com.
The 6-foot-1 low-major to mid-major point guard has been turning heads this AAU season, with his ability to get inside and finish around the rim, several scouts have noted.
Williams’ smooth and shifty hardwood skills has earned him the nickname “Butta.” He, along with New Haven Heat teammate Que Duncan, make up one of the best backcourts in the nation, according to director of events at Made Hoops.
The Great Danes posted a 13-19 overall record and went 5-11 in Colonial Athletic Assocation (CAA) conference action this past season.
