Class of 2026 Montclair Immaculate Conception High School (N.J.) guard Jaren Barnett has received an offer from Division I Delaware State University Hornets Men’s basketball program, yesterday he wrote on X.
The Hornets’ D-1 offer was the first for the 5-foot-10 Montclair, New Jersey, native.
In addition to the Delaware offer, Barnett was on a recent nonofficial visit at Quinnipiac University, according to a source.
Barnett, who also plays for the NJ Beasts AAU squad, drained 315 points (10.9 average), 95 rebounds, 48 steals and 98 assists in 29 games played in the 2023-24 campaign.
The Hornets posted a 15-19 overall mark and went 6-9 in Mid-Eastern Athletic Conference (MEAC) this past season.
