Class of 2026 St. George’s School (R.I.) guard Dywane Chess has received an offer from Division I Hofstra University Pride Men’s basketball program, yesterday he reported via X.
Additionally, the 6-foot-4 Bethlehem, Pa., native–who also plays for the Middlesex Magic AAU squad–holds offers from Albany, Holy Cross and North Carolina A&T.
Chess’s game features his ability to go to the rim and adjust mid-flight and sink baskets while being off balance. He is also skilled at dropping bombs from long range from anywhere on the hardwood.
Hofstra posted a 20-13 overall record and went 12-6 in Coastal Athletic Association (CAA) conference action in the 2023-24 campaign.
