Queensbridge’s Nasir Rodriguez Picks Up Two D-1 College Hoops Offers

Manhattan and Maine Men’s basketball programs have offered class of 2025 Northfield Mount Hermon (MA) guard Nasir Rodriguez, he wrote on X, formerly Twitter.

After de-committing from Columbia in July and reclassifying to the 2025 class, the 6-foot-4 Queensbridge, N.Y., native decided to reopen his recruitment.

Additionally, the ex-Monsignor Scanlan High School (Bronx, N.Y.) product has kept the Lions as an option, as well as George Mason, High Point, La Salle, Stony Brook, Northern Illinois and Robert Morris, according to VerbalCommits.com.

Rodriguez owns a multi-layered game, shooting the rock well, with solid inside-outside abilities. Rodriguez also sports quick, disruptive hands on defense, forcing the opposition to make mistakes and turn over the ball.

The Jaspers put up a 7-23 record and went 4-16 in Metro Atlantic Athletic Conference (MAAC) play in the 2023-24 season.
