As long as she can remember, Morris Catholic High School (N.J.) and Team Sharp 17U guard Daniella Matus said she always wanted to play college hoops at the Division I level.
Well, yesterday, the 5-foot-9 senior committed to D-I Loyal Chicago University Women’s basketball program, she announced on X, formerly known as Twitter.
Additionally, Matus held offers from George Washington, Seton Hall, Pittsburgh, Monmouth, Colgate, Delaware, among other programs, per source.
As a sophomore, Matus dropped in 386 points, grabbed 110 rebounds, dished out 55 assists and made 46 steals in the 2022-23 season.
The Ramblers posted a 15-16 overall record and went 8-10 in Atlantic 10 Conference action in the 2023-24 campaign.
