Class of 2026 Archbishop Stepinac (N.Y.) guard Jasiah Jervis has received an offer from Division I Rutgers Men’s basketball program, his high school recently wrote on X, formerly known as Twitter.
The 6-foot-5, 185-pound PSA Cardinal AAU EYBL four-star player also holds offers from St. John’s, Seton Hall, Hofstra, Iona, Quinnipiac, St. Bonaventure, Fordham, Pittsburgh, California, Wake Forest, Stanford, Rhode Island, Manhattan and St. Louis, per VerbalCommits.com.
Jervis is an outstanding three-point shooter, can soar and glide to the basket with ease, scores with either hand, and is a tenacious defender who owns a tough mental approach and impressive work ethic.
Rutgers posted a 15-17 overall mark and went 7-13 in Big 10 Conference action in the 2023-24 season.
However, many basketball insiders consider the Scarlet Knights’ incoming freshman hoops class to be one of the best in the nation and are aggressively recruiting for the future.
