While Mingo has missed significant amount of time due to an injury this season, his impressive summer with the PSA Cardinals on the Nike Elite Youth Basketball League (EYBL) circuit — where he averaged 19.3 points, 7.8 rebounds, 2.6 assists and 2.3 steals per game — seems to have been enough for the Tarheels.
North Carolina is 20-5, and will travel to NC State today at 7:00 p.m.
