Yesterday, WWE started to name its Independent Development (ID) prospects for its new ID program, which has partnered with independent schools and is designed to provide indie professional wrestlers a clear pathway to a potential career in the promotion.
Among those named to WWE ID is Bryce Donovan, whom the promotion scouted from Wrestling Open, and lives in Long Beach, N.Y.
Donovan has the opportunity to join the likes of other Long Island pro wrestlers who have had enormous careers in the squared circle, such as Mic Foley, Matt Cardona and Maxwell Jacob Friedman (MJF).
Donovan, who graduated from Create A Pro (CAP) NY wrestle school on Long Island, owned by TNA star Brain Meyers (F.K.A. Curt Hawkins in WWE) and Pat Buck, is a big guy. He uses the Damocles, a vicious twisting body slam, as his finisher.
Watch below as he creates destruction and devastation.
Donovan is known to use his size and strength to toss his opponents about the ring as if they were small paper weights.
In his career, Donovan defeated Eric James to capture the CAP championship in 2022. He held the title for an unprecedented 517 days, according to a source. Notably, he has made two appearances with Ring of Wrestling (ROH) as part of tag teams.
Good luck to the behemoth.
