St. John’s Univeristy Men’s basketball used four players who scored in double digits to defeat Kansas State, 88-71, Saturday afternoon in Queens, N.Y., at Carnesecca Arena.
6-foot-9 junior forward Zuby Ejiofor led the way with game-highs in points (28) and rebounds (13), while graduate transfer guard Kadary Richmond scored 13 points, grabbed six boards and had three blocks.
Junior guard/forward RJ Luis, Jr. contributed 11 points and had eight rebounds and sophomore guard Simeon Wilcher dropped in 11 points and pulled down four boards in the Red Storm’s (7-2) victory.
Brendan Hausen drained a team-best 27 points and collected four rebounds for the Wildcats (6-3) in the loss.
