Susan Wagner High School’s Casey McKinney led the Falcons to 65-60 victory with a monster game, scoring a game-best 32 points, grabbing 19 rebounds, rejecting five shots, dishing out three assists and making three steals against Staten Island Academy (SIA) Friday in the first round of the second annual SI Girl’s Borough President’s Cup at Moore Catholic High School.
The 6-foot-1 junior is enjoying an impressive Public School Athletic League (PSAL) season with Wagner, with several double-doubles to her credit.
The fourth-seeded Falcons (7-4,13-7) will face St. Joseph’s Hill Academy in round two of the Borough Cup on Sunday.
