Georgia Southern Football Offers Chatham High School Junior Two-Way Lineman Jase Catullo

Chatham High School (N.J.) two-way junior lineman Jase Catullo has landed his first offer from NCAA Division I Football Bowl Subdivision’s (FBS) Georgia Southern Football program, yesterday he wrote on X, formerly known as Twitter.

The 6-foot-3.5-inch, 290-pound Catullo excelled on the offensive line, using his quick footwork, strength, and ability to get out in front of pulls to open up holes for his running backs. Defensively, he also had 29 tackles, one fumble recovery, and one blocked punt this past season.

Catullo also comes from a football family pedigree, as his grandfather went to Colorado State, and his dad went to Auburn.

Chatham finished with a 7-3 record and made the playoffs, defeating Wayne Valley, 24-7, in the New Jersey State Interscholastic Athletic Assocation (NJSIAA) quarterfinal round of the North Jersey, Section 2, Group 4 football tournament.

Georgia Southern posted an 8-5 mark and went 6-2 in Sun Belt Conference (SBC) action in the 2024 campaign.
