New Jersey’s Zarique Nutter Transfers: Georgia State Guard Enters Portal


Georgia State Men’s basketball guard and Newark, New Jersey native Zarique Nutter has entered the transfer portal, today national sports reporter Joe Tipton wrote on X, formerly known as Twitter.

Nutter, a 6-foot-7, 210-pound senior, averaged 14.2 points and 3.1 rebounds per game this past season.

He previously attended Northern Illinois, Clarendon College (JUCO) and The Patrick School in Hillside, New Jersey.

 Nutter averaged 15.4 points, 5.7 boards and 2.0 assists in the 2023-24 campaign.

The Panthers posted 14-9 record and went 8-10 in Sun Belt Conference action.
