Elliot Cadeau has left North Carolina and will transfer into Michigan Wolverines Men’s basketball program, today his mother, Michelle Cadeau, announced on X, formerly known as Twitter.
The 6-foot-1 sophomore guard averaged 9.4 points and 2.9 rebounds per game, plus 231 assists and 41 steals this past season with the Tar Heels.
As a freshman, Cadeau averaged 7.3 points and 4.1 assists per contest at North Carolina.
Before college, the Brooklyn-born Cadeau attend Link Academy in Branson, Missouri, and Bergen Catholic in Oradell, New Jersey.
Cadeau played for New Heights New York Lightning AAU squad and averaged 15.7 points and 9.3 helpers over the 17-game 2023 Elite Youth Basketball League (EYBL) schedule.
Interesting note: Cadeau holds dual citizenship in the United States and Sweden, a language in which he speaks fluently.
