After visiting Iona University at the end of last month, Ryan Renfro yesterday had decided to transfer to the New Rochelle, N.Y., school to study and play for the Division I Men’s basketball team, according to VerbalCommits.com.

Renfro played hoops for U.S. Military Prep, where he averaged 16 points and seven rebounds a contest in the 2023-24 season.

The Gaels posted a 17-17 overall record and went 12-8 in Metro Atlantic Athletic Conference (MAAC) play in 2024-25.
