Livingston High School’s Frank Bagolie Ranks 3rd All-Time in Saves for Boy’s Lacrosse After Win at Parsippany Hills

Livingston High School (N.J.) senior goalie Frank Bagolie has made history on his school’s lacrosse team after stopping nine shots in a 16–5 victory over Parsippany Hills Monday on the road.

Bagolie, who is committed to Division II Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University, became the program’s third all-time career saves leader with 429. He now trails John Coyne (2011–2013) with 543 career saves and Stephen Russo (2014–2017), who holds the all-time record with 836.

Bagolie has 12 regular season contests remaining in his high school career, so he has a chance at second place all-time at Livingston (2-2).

While Bagolie’s milestone garnered the headlines, the entire squad, many of whom have been playing together since Super-Scoopers, delivered in Monday’s win.

Hudson Siegel found the back of the net five times along with an assist, while Luke Piche added three tallies and seven helpers. Zamir Faith notched a hat trick, and Sam Goldstein, Noah Shin, Reid Snow, Will Davis, and Simon Ritz contributed a goal apiece.

Two-time NCAA Division II National Champion head coach John Jez, who is building a new legacy at the Daytona Beach-based program, personally recruited Bagolie.

“Coach Jez and Coach Curry have shown incredible belief in my potential, and I’m thrilled to continue my lacrosse journey at Embry-Riddle next fall,” Bagolie said. “I also want to thank my parents, brothers, and coaches—especially Coach Dzama—for helping me grow as a Lancer.”

High school accolades asides, Bagolie also holds international acclaim, representing the Dominican Republic Men’s National Lacrosse Team, helping them earn a bronze medal at the PALA Sixes Cup in Jamaica, and competed for Team Israel in box lacrosse.

He also leads off the lax field. Bagolie is working to increase civic engagement among students and is playing an active role in the re-election campaign of his mother, Assemblywoman Dr. Rosy Bagolie, a Democratic member of the New Jersey General Assembly, representing the 27th Legislative District.

“Being able to support my mom’s campaign and help engage more young voters is incredibly meaningful,” Bagolie explained why he participates in civic activities. “Just like on the field, it’s about showing up, staying focused, and fighting for what you believe in.”
