Vincennes’ Michael Cooper Commits to Wagner University Men’s Basketball


Class of 2025 Vincennes University (Ind.) forward Michael Cooper has committed to Division I Wagner (Staten Island, N.Y.) Men’s basketball program, yesterday he announced on X, formerly known as Twitter.

The 6-foot-6, 205-pound Cooper also held an offer from Northwestern State University, according to VerbalCommits.com.

Cooper averaged 12.6 points, 6.2 rebounds and 1.7 assists in 32 games played in the 2024-25 campaign.

The Minneapolis, Minn., native attended North Platte Community College before enrolling at Vincennes University.

The Seahawks posted a 14-16 overall record and went 6-10 in Northeast Conference (NEC) action this past season.
